The World - Language Programme: Mobility of teacher trainees and newly qualified teachers

The new mobility  programme has been launched by the Hungarian Ministry of Education.

The general aim of the programme is the improvement of foreign language teaching and learning in secondary vocational education in Hungary, by supporting the teaching practice of teacher trainees or newly qualified teachers teachers at a Hungarian secondary vocational training institution.

Teacher trainees/teachers spend 2-5 months at the Hungarian institution, between the middle of January 2006 and end of June 2006. Schools taking part in the programme will provide suitable professional support for the teacher trainees/ teachers.

By teaching their professional subject in the native language, teacher trainees or newly qualified teachers gain teaching experience and  get acquainted with new teaching methods but also will have an insight into Hungarian culture and everyday life.
